KemperSports selects Jim Boedecker as senior vice president of golf strategy and growth

KemperSports, a golf, sports, entertainment and hospitality company, announced today that golf and sports marketing industry veteran, Jim Boedecker, will join its team as senior vice president of golf strategy and growth.

In his new role, Boedecker will be responsible for leveraging KemperSports’ portfolio of golf and sports properties and assets to create new revenue streams for the company. He will also look to develop new lines of business for KemperSports in and around golf, sports and hospitality.

Boedecker joins the KemperSports team after more than twenty years in golf and sports marketing, including holding leadership roles at Outlyr, IMG Worldwide and Intersport. He played college golf at Marquette University where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business.

During his career, Boedecker developed marketing programs for brands such as Cadillac and JP Morgan Chase. He also handled sales and marketing for more than 100 PGA Tour, LPGA, European Tour and Champions Tour players.
