In addition to the golf course reopening, the newly refined Plantation Course clubhouse and golf shop will reopen on Nov. 23 following, a four-month renovation project. An improved Plantation House Restaurant, located in the Plantation Course clubhouse, is expected to make its debut in early December.

Original course architects Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw oversaw the refinement project along with Troon’s Design, Development and Agronomy team and Golf Channel personality Mark Rolfing. During the nine-month project, all 107 acres of fairways, tees and rough were grassed with celebration bermudagrass, while all greens were grassed with TifEagle bermudagrass. A capillary concrete liner system was installed in all 93 course bunkers, allowing the bunkers to better weather heavy rain events. The course’s practice green and chipping green areas were rebuilt, with TifEagle bermudagrass added. The practice range tee area was laser leveled and grassed with celebration bermudagrass. We’re excited to welcome locals, Maui visitors and the PGA Tour’s best back to the new Plantation Course.”
