John Deere: 2500E E-Cut Hybrid Riding Greens Mower

By |  March 5, 2015 0 Comments

John Deere’s 2500 Series offers the operator the choice of an E-Cut Hybrid model that the company says virtually eliminates the possibility of hydraulic leaks by removing 102 potential leak points from the reel circuit.

The 2500E E-Cut today features several customer-inspired enhancements, including a rear grass catcher and optional rear-attaching yoke kit. The yoke kit pushes the cutting unit from the back of the unit to prevent rear roller bounce, which can be seen with front cutting units in fairway operations. This option, ideal for use on fairways and approaches, brings the exclusive design of John Deere Golf’s fairway mower system to the riding greens mower.

An alternator keeps the reels going at the correct speed while the engine stays at a reduced throttle, reducing fuel usage.
