Jacobsen/Textron: Tractor-mounted hydraulic reel mower
The new Jacobsen MH5 tractor-mounted hydraulic reel mower provides productivity and versatility. With a 135-inch width-of-cut, the five-gang mower provides a reel-quality cut and excellent ground following on a variety of turf areas including golf roughs, surrounds, driving ranges and fairways, according to the company. The new mower has the power to handle tough conditions – such as scalping – before overseeding and verticutting.
The machine easily mounts to a three-point hitch and the reel drive operates in forward or reverse for back-lapping.
