Landmark Golf Course Products has made its COVID Covers free of charge.

These guards allow for the safest and most realistic game of golf possible during this pandemic, said the company. To avoid potential germ spreading, the U.S. Golf Association recommends raising the cup above the ground and hitting it with the ball to finish the hole.

COVID Covers let golfers play without the need to reach into the cup to retrieve the ball. The COVID Covers sit just inside the hole, allowing the ball to go in while also letting the golfer pick it up without risking their safety.

The covers are easy to install and remove on any hole, according to the company. Plus, they’re made of 100 percent recyclable material — once the pandemic is over, courses can recycle them.
