GCSAA Golf Championships to kick off Jan. 27 in Phoenix
The Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA) Golf Championships, presented by Toro, will tee off on Jan. 27 at three Phoenix-area golf courses featuring formats for every skill level. The 2024 event will mark the 30th consecutive year Toro has partnered with the GCSAA to present this tournament.
The 2024 course and format line-up features:
Talking Stick Golf Club – Scottsdale, Ariz.:
- One-day GCSAA Four-Ball competition Sat., Jan. 27.
- Two-day GCSAA Golf Classic competition Sun., Jan. 28 and Mon., Jan. 29.
Whirlwind Golf Club – Chandler, Ariz.:
- One-day Four-Ball competition Sat., Jan. 27.
- One-day Scramble Sun., Jan. 28.
Camelback Golf Club – Scottsdale, Ariz.:
- Two-day National Championship Jan. 28 and 29.
All three facilities are less than 30 minutes from the Phoenix Convention Center, the site of the 2024 GCSAA Conference and Trade Show Jan. 29 – Feb. 1.
2024 will mark the second year of the women’s scramble flight and the Toro par 3 Shootout. The 2024 Toro Par 3 Shootout will award a Toro Workman GTX Lifted Utility Vehicle to the winner. The 2024 Toro Par 3 Shootout will take place at 3 p.m. on Jan. 28 at Talking Stick Golf Club. The event features complimentary food and drinks for all GCSAA tournament participants.
