GCSAA Foundation to participate in Giving Tuesday on Dec. 3

The GCSAA Foundation, the philanthropic organization of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), will participate in Giving Tuesday. Since its inception in 2012, the Tuesday after Thanksgiving is dedicated as a day to support charitable organizations and non-profits.

A gift to the Foundation will fund turfgrass research, aid potential and current golf course management professionals in pursuing their desired career path in this industry and support the sustainability of the game through advocacy and outreach efforts.

P2 Golf Products, a leading golf driving range and equipment manufacturer, has committed to a $10,000 matching gift for donations made on Giving Tuesday, which means donators can double their impact to the GCSAA Foundation.

With this donation, P2 Golf will be recognized as a new partner for the GCSAA Foundation’s Drive Toward a Sustainable Future. P2 Golf is now also recognized as a new member of the Foundation’s Platinum Tee Club and in the Statesman’s Club through the Cumulative Giving Program, which recognizes donors who have given between $10,000 and $24,999 since 1987.

“At P2 Golf Products, making a difference where it counts is at the heart of what we do,” said Jessica Esteves, sales and marketing for P2 Golf Products. “This Giving Tuesday, we’re excited to join forces with the GCSAA Foundation to support the future of golf — whether it’s the science of turfgrass or the pure joy of being on the course and with our matching gift, we hope to make twice the impact this year. Together, let’s grow and give back to the game we all love. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts, and we’re thrilled to be in it with you.”
