Triple Crown Golf Insecticide, now available from FMC Corporation, is a multiple action insecticide that provides broad-spectrum control of more than 30 above- and below-ground turf pests.

Triple Crown is an innovative three-way combination of FMC bifenthrin, FMC zeta-cypermethrin and imidacloprid, offering multiple modes of action on key pests including armyworms, cutworms, sod webworms, grubs (masked chafer, European chafer), chinch bugs, annual bluegrass weevils, billbugs, mole crickets and more.

“Triple Crown is a result of FMC’s commitment to Customer-Driven Innovation,” said Catherine Bernard, insecticide brand marketing manager for FMC. “Because of its unique multiple action formulation, Triple Crown is a great product golf course superintendents now have to protect turf and landscape plants against destructive pests – both above and below ground. By eliminating the need to tank mix multiple products to control pests, Triple Crown helps save time, money and shelf space.”

Available in a suspoemulsion formulation, Triple Crown Golf insecticide works through contact, translaminar and systemic activity, providing protection against sucking pests that feed on a plant’s vascular system, as well as foliar-feeding insects.
