FMC continues to give back to GCSAA chapters at 2021 GIS
The FMC Professional Solutions “Give Back to Local Chapters” program will commence at the upcoming virtual 2021 Golf Industry Show.
In 2020, FMC donated $30,000 to nearly 90 local Golf Course Superintendents Association of America chapters nationwide. This year, superintendents can visit the FMC booth and test their skills at the Photo Hunt game, which challenges players to locate the differences between two similar pictures. Superintendents can earn points for their local chapter with a top prize of $5,000.
“Given the impact of all the challenges faced in 2020, what better way to demonstrate support than by directly supporting local chapters,” said Mike Sisti, marketing manager for FMC Professional Solutions. “FMC is sincerely committed to supporting the golf industry and those who are helping it progress each day.”
The fundraiser was an initiative driven by the FMC True Champions end user rewards program. Superintendents can register and FMC will track purchases of qualified products and submit their “give back” donation directly to their local GCSAA chapter. Qualified products include both Fame SC Fungicide and Rayora Fungicide.
“The Georgia GCSA chapter applauds FMC for their commitment to the golf industry, especially in these tough economic times,” said Tenia Workman, executive director of Georgia GCSA. “FMC’s Give Back allows our chapter to continue to grow its programs and our mission of enhancing the game of golf and the golf course management profession. It is deeply appreciated.”
