Ewing Outdoor Supply, the largest family-owned national supplier in the green industry, has promoted Daryl Irsik to director of construction and installation and Michael Maravich to director of maintenance and agronomics.
These newly formed teams are structured to support the distinct operational needs of Ewing’s diverse customer base:
- Construction and installation: Led by Daryl Irsik, this team oversees outdoor living, irrigation, hardscape, bulk and aggregates.
- Maintenance and agronomics: Led by Michael Maravich, this team manages turf and ornamental, landscaping supplies and tools, equipment, mulch, soil, sports field, compliance and technical T&O services.
“The role of our directors of category management is to execute a strategic plan that enables our customers to lean on us for all their product and service needs,” said Ewing’s chief revenue officer Tom Childers. “Michael and Daryl will help ensure that Ewing remains at the forefront of market trends while fostering sustainable vendor relationships.”
Daryl Irsik brings experience as a sales and management executive with an ability to lead teams to profitability and success. Previously serving in a key leadership role within Ewing’s hardscape division, Irsik has a consistent record of success in developing new markets and managing national sales force initiatives, according to the company.
Prior to his tenure with Ewing, Irsik served as vice president of retail sales for Pavestone Company, overseeing their sales team, servicing a diverse national customer base. His expertise in building materials and business development strategy will be instrumental in driving growth within the construction and installation segments.
Michael Maravich has devoted the past three years to Ewing, most recently leading the strategic direction for the turf and ornamental category. A graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in turfgrass management, Maravich began his career as a golf construction superintendent before holding diverse sales and marketing roles at LESCO/John Deere Landscapes.
Maravich’s extensive background includes leadership roles focused on product and business development, sales and marketing for major manufacturers such as Arysta Lifescience, Sipcam Agro USA and others. In addition to his professional roles, he served on the board of directors for RISE, and currently with Primera, Inc. and Project EverGreen, reinforcing his commitment to industry-wide growth and service.
