Everglades GCSA pledges $15,000 to EIFG
The Everglades Golf Course Superintendents Association has pledged to donate a total of $15,000 over three years to the Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG).
With the pledge to the EIFG, the philanthropic organization of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), the 350-member Everglades chapter moves to Presidential Club status within the EIFG’s cumulative giving program. The chapter also becomes a Platinum Tee Club member, a program that recognizes organizations that give $5,000 or more annually to the EIFG.
“We are in a very good market for golf and we set a high bar for our association,” says Bryce Koch, Everglades chapter president. “We are honored to be able to support EIFG and what it does for industry research and scholarships.”
With its most recent pledge the Everglades GCSA, founded in 1968, raises its donations to the EIFG to $100,000 since 1987.
