Eagle Ridge Golf Club, a 27-hole championship golf course open to the public, was recently voted one of the Top 10 Golf Courses in N.J. by GolfAdvisor.com.

Carved from an old abandoned sand quarry used to build the Garden State Parkway, Eagle Ridge more closely resembles a layout found in the Carolinas than one along the Jersey Shore.

“The natural rugged landscape is cleverly blended with generous fairways, dramatic elevation changes and beautiful bent grass greens to create a dramatic golf experience,” said Allen DePuy, Vice President of Operations for Eagle Ridge Golf Club. “Specializing in corporate golf outings, as well as recreational and instructional golf, Eagle Ridge is the premier venue for all your golf needs.”

Located only an hour from both New York City and Philadelphia, Eagle Ridge hosts countless Monmouth and Ocean County events each year. “We partner with numerous corporations, civic groups and organizations using golf as a creative recreational method for fundraising and/or corporate retreats,” said DePuy.

For those looking to improve their game, Eagle Ridge Golf Academy is available to take students and experienced golfers to the next level. The Golf Academy is open year-round and offers individual lessons, small groups, clinics, junior camps, women-only, couples and family groups. “All of our programs integrate techniques and fundamentals with rules and etiquette so you can make the transition from the lesson tee to the golf course,” said DePuy. “For those who already play golf but are looking to improve their game and lower their score, we can create the perfect program for you.”
