e-par USA and the e-par Group (Australia) release an online platform that provides environmental training for golf course maintenance staff in the United States.e-par USA

The e-par TEE (Training for an Environmental Event) program uses animated simulations and an interactive e-learning environment. Each training module focuses on a particular area of potential environmental risk, providing golf course staff with the procedures and practices needed to reduce the potential for environmental harm.

“Budgets and the bottom line are more important than ever in golf, and the e-par TEE program delivers low-cost environmental training to help ensure safe and effective operations,” said Kevin A. Fletcher, president and CEO, e-par USA Inc. “Managing environmental risks and ensuring best environmental practices often depend on minimizing the chance for human error. The best way to ensure that is through ongoing and relevant environmental management training.”

The e-par TEE online training platform covers such topics as Delivery of Fuel, Managing Chemical Spills, Materials Handling, as well as other environmental management practices and procedures.

Prices for individual training modules range from $149 to $199. Annual packages that include sets of four modules are available for $450 to $550.

“Affordability in environmental training is what we’re looking to provide,” Fletcher said. “We want to take the cost factor out of the equation and make sure effective environmental management training support is available for any golf course superintendent to use.”
