Course of the Week: Boca Woods CC partners with Rees Jones for $9M renovation

Boca Woods Country Club in Boca Raton, Fla., recently announced a $9 million golf course renovation in partnership with Rees Jones Inc.

“Overall the course has really good bones and a tremendous amount of potential,” said Rees Jones, founder of Rees Jones Inc.

Bill Hirchert, director of golf course maintenance, and Jeff Gullett, director of golf, lead the renovation for Boca Woods CC. Hirchert recently completed four previous course renovations through the Southeast and Gullett completed a major renovation in Boca Raton before joining Boca Woods.

In 2022, the club completed a $15 million renovation to its facilities, including upgrades to its practice facility and short game area. The primary course renovation project is scheduled to begin in March 2024.
