Member organizations of the Colorado Golf Coalition (CGC) recently attended the annual Golf Day held at the Colorado State Capitol, during which, Governor Jared Polis proclaimed April 12 as Golf Day in the state.

The proclamation, read on both the House and Senate floors, highlighted golf’s economic, environmental, social and charitable impacts on the state.

Organizations in attendance were theĀ Colorado Golf Association (CGA), Colorado Section of the PGA, Rocky Mountain Golf Course Superintendent Association (RMGCSA) and the Mile High Chapter of the Club Managers Association (CMAA). Representatives from each organization met with lawmakers to share all of the contributions the golf industry makes to the quality of life in Colorado.

Joining the four organizations was the local affiliate of the National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA) and representation from TPC Colorado.
