Billy Casper Golf launches new division
Billy Casper Golf–owner and operator of more than 140 golf courses, country clubs and resorts–has launched Buffalo Turf & Landscape Co. (Buffalo TLC).
Touted as a new approach to golf course maintenance-only programs, the new division promotes a fee-for-service structure that reveals to property owners actual maintenance activities and costs. Such transparency differs from conventional maintenance-only “lump-sum” contracts that do not require detailed reporting, the company says.
“Buffalo TLC presents owners with control, and effective on-going communication and collaboration,” said Buffalo TLC Vice President of Agronomy Bryan Bielecki. “Our team produces a heavy dose of TLC and custom agronomic solutions with accountability, so property owners enjoy peace of mind and healthy returns.”
The company says Buffalo TLC provides such advantages as more than 150 agronomists who regularly share best practices; regional directors who are based near property locales to optimize support, communication and local knowledge; superintendents who have joined Buffalo TLC from top-ranked courses nationwide; “BCGreen,” which focuses on carbon footprint reduction, Audubon International Cooperative Sanctuary-certified courses; and custom education programs with the Golf Course Superintendents’ Association of America and BCG-U.
Golf course owners may choose from:
- Landscaping, which includes horticulture, snow removal, lawn care, and bed maintenance;
- Development, which involves irrigation, construction, renovation and general contractor;
- Environmental Management, which encompasses wetlands, ecosystems, lakes and wildlife habitats; and
- Total T&L Care, which includes all services.
Buffalo TLC is structured to eventually serve sports fields, parks and recreation areas, and residential and commercial developments, according to the company.
