Bayer talks new products and resources at GIS

Golf Industry Show (GIS) 2021 attendees can learn more about Bayers  new innovations, proven solutions and geographically customized resources featured in the Bayer booth.

“In this sport, everyone is continually working to improve on the course, so we are always exploring ways to help golf course superintendents up their turf management game,” said Mike Hirvela, customer marketing manager for Turf and Ornamentals at Bayer. “We cannot wait to discuss our newest innovations with attendees and share expertise that will make it easier to achieve pristine playing conditions year-round.”

Golf course superintendents are encouraged to stop by the Bayer virtual booth Feb. 2-4. The exhibit will feature interactive environments with educational videos, digital flipbooks and a fun Par 5 quiz. Every attendee who takes the quiz and registers will be entered to win one of three premium Mountain Hardwear rain jackets. In addition to giveaways and opportunities to chat live with Bayer representatives, visitors will learn about the following solutions and resources to help maintain their edge:

  • Upcoming fungicide: Preview Densicor, the powerfully simple new fungicide solution coming later this
  • New insecticide: This new insecticide will feature tetraniliprole as the active ingredient, allowing golf course superintendents to take a preventive or early curative approach to white grub, annual bluegrass weevil and other common turf pests.
  • Stressgard: Learn more about the Stressgard fungicide
  • The Green Solutions Center: The Bayer Green Solutions team will be on hand to help superintendents improve their turf management approach with insights and recommendations as they share resources customized by geographic region
