ATS selected for KinderCare playgrounds

DALTON, GA.—Artificial Turf Supply (ATS) recently completed a multi-state project with KinderCare, a learning center for young children with locations across the country. ATS’ products were selected by KinderCare as the playground surface for various KinderCare sites in the states of Washington, Oregon and Texas. The entire project came to fruition just this past summer.

“It’s an honor to have the safety characteristics and exceptional construction of our product recognized by those trusted to form and instruct young people—our future,” says David Barbera, president of ATS. “With all our hearts we hope that the children enjoy their new playgrounds.”

American Safety Surface & Recreation Co. carried out installation work in Bellevue and Woodinville, Wash., as well as in Portland, Ore. Ledwell Construction installed the ground cover for KinderCare in Austin, Texas.

The product employed in all the new KinderCare playgrounds was ATS’ UV-resistant ProPLAY PLUS series, which is manufactured in the US and has been praised for being free of heavy metals and having critical fall height protection.
