Aqua-Aid Solutions added a new and proprietary rapid-response soil surfactant, Excalibur.

It features potentiated hydrophobe technology (PHT technology) that rapid infiltration and consistent dry down.

PHT Technology is comprised of a molecule with a strong hydrophobic chain that permits a more powerful affinity to attach to soil particle surfaces, allowing for infiltration and longevity, according to the company. Aqua-Aid Solutions said PHT Technology allows for water to wet quicker and infiltrate better.

Aqua-Aid said Excalibur is a good tank-mix partner to target mitigate environmental factors and place chemistries in the correct zone of the soil profile for maximum effectiveness. The unique infiltration-rehydration characteristics of Excalibur will provide good soil moisture responsiveness, according to the company.

Excalibur can be placed in any agronomic program to allow the turf manager to have better water management control. When used as directed, Excalibur is safe to turf and can be applied at any time of the year to substantially improve turfgrass quality and resistance to stress. Excalibur is easy to apply through standard spray application equipment to all turfgrass areas.
