Albaugh transitions leadership in North America

After 30 years of service to Albaugh, Spencer Vance will continue and extend his involvement as a member of Albaugh’s board of managers. Douglas “Dak” Kaye, currently Albaugh’s Group chief commercial officer, will be Albaugh’s next regional president for the North American region.

“After 30 years with Albaugh, it is the right time for me to focus my talents in these critical areas,” Vance said. “I’m as excited to continue to bring the high quality and compelling value of Albaugh ‘Your Alternative’ to customers in the U.S. and Canada.”

In addition to his responsibilities as manager,  Vance will continue his involvement in the new role of director of customer engagement for North America. In this capacity, Vance will continue his efforts to ensure customers have full knowledge of Albaugh’s portfolio and capabilities, cultivate both existing and new customer relationships in all market segments and craft high-quality solutions to the ever-growing needs of customers.

“Under Spencer’s leadership our company has reached unparalleled levels of success in serving agriculture in the U.S. and Canada, and I know that Dak will build upon Spencer’s legacy to continue our outstanding performance even further,” said founder and chairman Dennis Albaugh.

Kaye began his career in crop protection in 2009 and came to Albaugh in 2011 as its chief financial officer for the European region. Kaye became the president of the European region for Albaugh in 2012 and was appointed to the position of group chief commercial officer in 2019.
