Act Global Sports launches new web site

By and |  July 11, 2013

Act Global Sports has launched a new web site  to reflect the multiple segments it now serves within the synthetic turf market.

The company was founded on sports turf, however it recently added product lines for landscaping, aviation and landfill uses. Its corporate branding will reflect the Act Global brand.

“Our innovation strategy starts with key concepts of synthetic turf – the numerous environmental, aesthetic and land use benefits – and applies it across multiple applications through research and development investments,” said John Baize, managing director of Act Global. “As our business and product offerings continue to grow, it is important that our brand stays relevant across our widening segments.”

The redesigned web site features a black background with bold accent colors, simple navigation and an interactive home page displaying the company’s social media feeds, a video player and rotating news images. Visitors can easily navigate the company’s business segments, corporate information, product range, testing data, and industry information such as artificial turf installation guidelines, synthetic turf maintenance guidelines, the FIFA Quality Concept for Football Turf, natural grass benchmark studies and more. The web site is translated into nine different languages to reach the company’s global market.

The company focuses largely on synthetic sports turf, although artificial turf is a natural fit for a variety of other applications. Act Global also manufactures lines of golf turf, landscape turf, aviation turf and pet turf. It also offers LiteEarth, a patent-pending earth capping system that permanently merges synthetic turf to an EPDM membrane for long-term closure of landfills, coal ash and gypsum deposits.

Act Global has four manufacturing locations in the United States, Europe and Asia and installations in more than 70 countries. Act Global Sports is a FIFA Preferred Producer for Football Turf, Synthetic Turf Council Certified Manufacturer and holds an ISO 9001 certification.
