NanoOxygen Systems welcomes Jason Richter to sales team
NanoOxygen Systems hired Jason Richter as sales representative for the golf sector. Richter brings experience in both golf course construction and maintenance/operations. His experience as a customer of NanoOxygen System positions him well to assist customers in implementing technology for their courses.
Jason Richter holds a degree in crop and soil environmental sciences, turfgrass management, from Virginia Tech University and is a Class A GCSAA superintendent.
Richter began his career as a project manager for McDonald and Sons, a golf course construction company in the country. In his 10 years with the company, he renovated over 30 courses around the country including Congressional Country Club, Aronimink Golf Club, Quail Hollow Country Club, Card Sound Golf Club and Baltusrol Golf Club.
In 2015, he shifted gears to explore internal operations at golf clubs and became an assistant superintendent at Card Sound Golf Club, followed by the Polo Club. In 2017, he joined Fisher Island Club as superintendent, where he continues to serve as director of agronomy. In his capacity as superintendent, his work focused on sustainable agronomic practices that deliver playability at an elite level.
“As a valued customer who recently utilized the NanoOxygen System ultrafine bubble technology to perform one of the most successful paspalum grow-ins to date at Fisher Island Club, Jason saw first-hand how increased oxygen levels in irrigation water fundamentally change agronomy for the better. He was able to pay for his entire system by substituting high DO treated pond water for potable water when watering-in his greens,” said Ronald Pote, President and CEO of NanoOxygen Systems.
“He inherently understands how this advanced technology works and has seen the benefits across his golf course – and now can share that experience with our customers. We’re excited to have him join our team,” Pote added.
