This trip fueled by 5-Hour Energy and Aleve

Not the weather you want to see en route to Pinehurst Resort… All the rain they’ve had here over the last two days, maybe it’ll dry up in time for my afternoon tee time tomorrow…

Had a nice interview with Bob Farren yesterday. We talked a lot about the weather. Can they even hope to get three straight weeks (the lead-in week and the two Open weeks) of nice weather? That’s a lot to ask of Mother Nature… But he is hopeful she’ll cooperate as best she can.

Speaking of Mother Nature, I moved up my flight 10 hours so I could get here early to get some photography done. Looks like that 3 a.m. wake-up call will be for nothing!
