Textron E-Z-GO, a Textron company, launched its new labor portal for the Pace Technology platform. The portal is designed to help golf course superintendents and grounds crews efficiently manage people, equipment and other resources in keeping their facilities pristine.

The portal combines task assignments, work schedules, chemical applications, equipment usage and on‑course labor management in one place. With a suite of planning tools, superintendents and crew leaders can build weekly work and task schedules quickly. Superintendents are able to set daily priorities and assign equipment and tools to specific workers or tasks. In turn, workers can use mobile devices to record start and end times for tasks while out on the grounds. Instant updates and push notifications keep supervisors and workers informed of task status in real time, so resources can be reallocated if there are urgent tasks.

The Pace Technology platform is distributed through Textron E-Z-GO, manufacturer of E-Z-GO and Cushman vehicles and part of the Textron Specialized Vehicles business alongside Ransomes Jacobsen Ltd., manufacturer of Jacobsen professional turf equipment.

The Pace Labor Portal’s “Big Board” display shows live task assignments, mowing directions and other notes, and it’s viewable by superintendents and workers alike to keep everyone on the same page with duties at hand. Daily and hourly weather updates allow crews to stay prepared for changing conditions. Crews can track big events and deadlines with a displayed countdown clock. The portal also enables superintendents to log chemical and fertilizer applications to track application timing and rates for each area of the course.

The portal is available to all facilities and does not require Pace Technology hardware to operate. However, those with fleets equipped with Pace Technology hardware gain access to enhanced functionality, including real-time equipment location tracking and additional operational insights for course managers and operators.
