The bitter cold here in Cleveland isn’t the only reason we are pumped to head down to the Golf Industry Show next week. We are excited to announce that Rees Jones will be hanging out in our booth to help announce Golfdom’s 2014 Herb Graffis Businessperson of the Year award winner. Jones will be at our booth (#1933) at 11 a.m. on February 6th to help unveil this year’s winner.
The Herb Graffis Businessperson of the Year award is named after the founder of Golfdom, Herb Graffis. Thinking of golf as a business, Graffis founded the magazine in 1927. He also advanced the game by co-founding the National Golf Foundation, founding the Golf Writers Association of America and advocating the work of superintendents. The award goes to someone in the industry who thinks outside of the box, using ingenuity to positively impact their course.
Make sure you stop by on February 6th, say hi to Rees Jones and learn who this year’s Herb Graffis Businessperson of the Year will be. See you then!
