Reinders hosts 20th Turf & Irrigation Conference

The 20th Reinders Turf & Irrigation Conference was held March 9 and 10. Over 35 seminars covered six different educational tracts to meet the needs of golf course superintendents, landscape contractors, lawn care operators, sports turf managers, equipment mechanics and irrigation contractors.

Dr. Fred Yelverton of North Carolina State University, Dr. Joe Vargas of Michigan State University, Dr. Frank Rossi of Cornell University and Dr. Roch Gaussoin of the University of Nebraska all spoke, and Dana Lonn of The Toro Company explored the latest technological advancements in water conservation, energy efficiency and alternative fuels.

Reinders has hosted the Reinders Turf & Irrigation Conference every other year since 1973. The conference brings together industry manufacturers and nationally known speakers, and offers a variety of informative seminars. Reinders’ 21st Turf & Irrigation Conference will be held March 13-14, 2013.
