Premier Sand and Stone acquires Solar Sands in Kosse, Texas

Coyote Rock revealed its subsidiary, Premier Sand and Stone, has acquired Solar Sands, a sand supplier located in Kosse, Texas. The property was originally a well-established mining operation with a long history in supporting the Texas golf and sports market. 

The acquisition expands Premier Sand and Stone’s physical presence into Texas and will strengthen its ability to supply high-quality products to customers throughout the region. Quarry operations will commence immediately, and existing employees are expected to remain with the company. 

“This acquisition reflects our commitment to long-term, responsible support of the Texas golf and sports market,” said Doug Meador, Coyote Rock’s managing member. “It will provide us with greater product options to support our Texas customers and increase product availability. Similar to our approach with The Hayden Group acquisition, we intend to invest in infrastructure, safety and quality in support of our customers’ success through high-quality, reliable products delivered with speed and precision.” 

Premier Sand and Stone was formed in May 2023 when Coyote Rock, a Texas-based, family-owned holding company, acquired The Hayden Group.
