PGA leftovers

By |  August 13, 2013

The Wanamaker trophy is at Dufner’s place, and a lot of guys are slowly beginning to catch up a on a little sleep.

Congrats to Jeff Corcoran and his crew — another great PGA Championship is in the books.

We asked Corcoran (through our man on the ground, CC of Orlando superintendent Kasey Kauff — thanks Kasey!) how he felt with Sunday morning’s prep work done.

“I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders,” he said. “I’m going to relax until it’s time to start thinking about next week’s clean-up.”

I’m sure they’re well on their way getting things put together again. We’ll check in with Jeff later to see how it all went, now that the 2013 is in the rearview.

Valhalla and Roger Meier, you are now on the clock for the 2014 PGA!

It’s a good day here in the Golfdom editorial office — we wrapped up a magazine yesterday! Always a good feeling when we ship another issue off to the printer.

(Honestly, most days are good around Golfdom HQ. It’s a fun gig we’ve got!)

Since we got slammed late last week and early this week, I didn’t have time to post these pics to the blog. So here they are, without further ado (and without much of any play-by-play):

And thus concludes the 2013 Majors. Good winners, good story lines, and most of all… incredible golf courses, perfectly maintained.

In your opinion, which was the best Major of 2013?
