One week until the tradeshow!

By |  January 29, 2014

OK, I’m pushing the panic button… now.

I can’t believe this time next week I’ll be roaming the tradeshow floor of the 2014 Golf Industry Show! The big show! This time next week, I’ll be (checking schedule) at the Toro press conference! COOL!

I’ve got a packed schedule next week, but it’s going to be fun. If you’re going to the show, we hope to see you there. If you’re not going to the show, stop by the blog often and keep an eye on our Twitter feed… we’ll be posting like crazy from the Orange County Convention Center.

A couple places you can catch up with me/watch me make a fool of myself:

I’ll be participating in an industry roundtable at the BASF booth (#1321) at 4 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 5th). From there I’m heading to the Bayer Healthy Turf, Healthy Tomorrow reception. On Thursday (Feb. 6th) at 10:30 a.m. I’ll be at the FMC booth (#2000) playing a game of “Whack the Tuber.” People who post a better score than me will win prizes. So, based on how I’ve done at games at the GIS the last two years… everyone wins prizes!!! Immediately after the FMC booth I’ll run to the Golfdom booth (#1933, 11:00 a.m.) to present the 2014 Herb Graffis Businessperson of the Year award with the help of my friend Rees Jones. Please come by and say hello — we’ll be introducing the winner in dramatic fashion, by unveiling our February cover for the first time at the show.

Of course I’ll also be at as many of the VIP events, the different chapter parties, etc., as possible. And no matter what time you see me, trust me… that’s only my third beer I’m drinking right at that moment.
