Following a highly competitive national search, Landscapes Golf Management has been selected to operate the semi-private Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla., 40 minutes northwest of Orlando.

For the centerpiece of the Arlington Ridge Development District, Landscapes Golf Management will turnkey golf business strategy and planning, course maintenance, clubhouse operations, marketing, IT, staffing and training, food and beverage, merchandising, golf instruction and financial management.

The company’s initial focus will be on smartly and quickly reversing previous shortfalls in golf course turf conditions, food-and-beverage standards, banquet sales and overall member-guest satisfaction.

“Landscapes Golf Management was our No. 1 choice to lead our club into the future,” said Robert Hoover, board member of Arlington Ridge Development District. “We chose to go with LGM due to the depth of the company’s support team, its service culture and overall ability to create high-performing operations with healthy financial returns.”

Opened in 2005, Arlington Ridge Golf Club is situated within the award-winning Arlington Ridge active adult community. The championship course features a river that winds all along its southern boundary, and majestic canopies of centuries-old oaks throughout all 18 holes providing picture-worthy backdrops to greens and fairways along the way.

“We hit the ground running with best management practices and strong program implementations toward a resurgence,” said Tom Everett, president of Landscapes Golf Management. “The members and guests at Arlington Ridge deserve a market leading operation and we are confident we can deliver.”

Six-time PGA Tour winner Gary Koch designed Arlington Ridge for golfers of all skill levels to enjoy subtle nuances of well-placed hazards, elevated greens and dogleg approaches. With five tee boxes from 4,877 to 6,610 total yards, the course’s respectable par 71 allows members and guests who play regularly to experience new challenges each time.

Arlington Ridge boasts a professional caliber driving range and putting green, and a full-time professional staff conducts private and group golf lessons. Pre- and post-rounds, golfers enjoy Chatham’s Café and Chesapeake Bay Grille.
