The PGA Tour, John Deere and the Quad Cities Golf Classic Charitable Foundation have announced a multi-year extension ensuring John Deere’s title sponsorship of the John Deere Classic through 2030. This move reaffirms John Deere’s position as one of the PGA Tour’s longest-running title sponsors, a partnership dating back to 1998.

Since its inception in 1971, the John Deere Classic has generated more than $189 million for charity, with 99 percent of that total raised since John Deere assumed title sponsorship responsibilities, according to the company. The tournament, held at TPC Deere Run near John Deere’s world headquarters in Silvis, Ill., is a cornerstone of the Quad Cities region. Each of the course’s 18 holes is named for significant moments in local history, reflecting a deep connection to the community.

“The John Deere Classic long has been the premier sporting event in the Quad Cities,” said tournament director Andrew Lehman. “When Deere initiated the ‘Concerts on the Course’ series in 2023, it broadened the appeal of the tournament to a segment of the population that was introduced to golf — and the beauty of TPC Deere Run — for the first time. The event’s annual economic and charitable impact continues to drive positive change and helps make the Quad Cities a better place to live.”

With past champions including Steve Stricker, Zach Johnson and Jordan Spieth — who earned his first PGA Tour win at the event — the John Deere Classic continues to attract top talent. The 2025 tournament will be broadcast on CBS/Paramount+, Golf Channel, PGA Tour Live on ESPN+, Sirius XM and internationally via the PGA Tour’s World Feed.

According to the company, as the partnership extends, the John Deere Classic is poised to remain a vital force for economic, charitable and community growth in the Quad Cities, setting a benchmark for corporate and civic engagement in professional golf.
