Hunter Industries Turns 30

Irrigation and landscape lighting equipment manufacturer Hunter Industries has marked its third decade in business. Since its founding in 1981 by Edwin J. Hunter, the company has carved pathways in irrigation technology, producing products such as the PGP gear-driven rotor, which put Hunter on the irrigation map when it was released in 1983.

Hunter’s irrigation and outdoor lighting products are utilized in homes, stadiums, national landmarks, golf courses, parks, hotels and more. Today, the company stated in a release, “Hunter is committed to pushing the boundaries of technology, resource use efficiency, quality, training, and customer experience in every product and project we undertake. In the factory, the office, and the field, we are always putting innovation to work for every one of our customers around the world.”
