Highlights from Toro

By |  February 5, 2014

We got the chance to head up to the second floor of Toro’s booth at the 2014 Golf Industry Show and check out their newest products.

Starting off on the irrigation front, Toro’s David Angier discussed the need to replace older irrigation system. “You can Band-Aid them for so long, but at some point those systems have to be replaced,” says Angier. The new Toro Lynx 3.0 was unveiled during the press conference. This system features station percentage adjustment, and temperature adjustments. Following this reveal, Toro unveiled the Infinity Series sprinkler with Smart Access. The Infinity also features a pilot valve that is accessible from the top. This sprinkler is said to be “future proofed” and compatible with whatever comes next. Another plus is the fact that Infinity sprinkler is backwards compatible with 800S and DT models.

Along with these new reveals, Toro also had a birthday card of sorts for all booth visitors to sign. They are turning 100 soon. Next to their 100th birthday was equipment from their past.
