Headed to Wimbledon

By |  July 7, 2013

Sure, Wimbledon just concluded (Andy Murray, baby!) but that doesn’t mean I don’t want to go check out the grounds!

I’m catching a flight for Manchester, England here in a few minutes. All week I’ll be tooling around England — a few golf courses, a cricket match, a sports turf field day, the English football practice fields and Wimbledon — are all on the docket. I’m sure to catch a bunch of good stories, and see how they’re maintaining fine turf on the other side of the pond.

It’ll be my first trip to England since the 2012 BTME show in Harrogate. That trip was beyond awesome, so I have high expectations for this trip for sure.

Speaking social media, I’ll be blogging and Tweeting as much as I can while I’m over there. But, given the time difference and my ever-present desire to live in the moment (and not through the camera on my iPhone) I’ll do my best. But please do check back often, as I’ll plan to post at least one story and a couple photos daily.

I’ll be in Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Ipswich and London… so if your uncle runs a great pub in any of those cities, or you know the right place to grab a pint, don’t hesitate to send me a Tweet or an email. I’ll even buy your uncle a pint.

Cheerio!
