Green Lake Golf hires Erik Distler as strategic advisor

Arizona-based Green Lake Golf (GLG), sustainable golf course redevelopment firm, hired Erik Distler as strategic sustainability advisor. This external advisory role advances GLG’s long-term commitment to environmental responsibility, sustainable development and community impact.

In his new role, Distler will guide GLG’s development of a comprehensive sustainability roadmap. This initiative will focus on key areas such as water and energy conservation, habitat restoration, carbon footprint reduction, eco-conscious construction and community engagement. He will also consult on best practices in sustainable operations, partnerships and long-term planning that align with both local ecosystems and global climate goals. 

Distler currently serves as the senior vice president of sustainability at AEG, a leader in sports and live entertainment.
