What makes your product a game changer for golf course maintenance?

Uneven applications result in wasted product and inconsistent results, two things superintendents don’t want. That’s why we developed Opti-Rate, a new pulse-width modulation (PWM) rate-controlled spray system designed to keep applications uniform. The system gives you even more control over your applications, without having to make extra adjustments out on the course. It helps operators reduce over- and under-application and deliver more consistent results overall. Opti-Rate comes standard on our highly customizable SGXL sprayer, which is designed to accurately cover lots of ground in a short amount of time.

How does your offering improve operational efficiency for golf course managers?

Opti-Rate independently controls flow rate and pressure to maintain a uniform droplet size across the entire boom. Thanks to turn compensation technology, Opti-Rate also ensures rates remain consistent when turning. Plus, Opti-Rate increases output when the machine speeds up and decreases output when it slows down to maximize chemical savings. This helps operators make the most of their SGXL’s 120-gallon capacity and a 14-foot rear-mounted breakaway boom. That means faster, more efficient and more accurate applications. The system also features an easy-to-use display that allows you to choose your nozzle tip, rate and pressure. Just input your settings, and the system takes care of the rest. You’ll get real-time feedback, too, allowing you to easily monitor and fine-tune your spray settings.

In what ways does your product contribute to cost savings in maintenance?

Every SGXL has a detailed owner’s manual that is designed to let superintendents and their teams easily work on machines themselves. All of the machine’s internal components are easily accessible, and we’re available to guide you through maintenance tasks over the phone or via video chat. We value your right to work on your own equipment and the cost savings that come with doing things yourself.

How does your solution enhance the overall player experience on the course?

The SGXL is meant to quickly and accurately apply products on the course, letting superintendents squeeze in applications during tight windows that don’t interrupt play. Plus, the SGXL’s Opti-Rate system ensures product is applied accurately and evenly.
