Dew named inaugural recipient of LaRocca Family Executive Scholarship

Lake Toxaway Country Club president and CEO David Dew, CCM is the inaugural recipient of the LaRocca Family Executive Scholarship, the Club Foundation announced on Nov. 1.

The scholarship assists club management professionals seeking to continue their professional development and designates funds for attendance at elective BMIs such as BMI IV – Tactical Leadership and BMI V – Strategic Leadership. Funds also are separately designated to enable the club manager to mentor future industry leaders and assist them in their quest for lifetime professional development, the Foundation stated in a release.

“As club managers, we understand that the greatest successes our association has achieved and will in the future come from within its ranks,” said LaRocca family members in the press release. “The spirit of our contribution was to assist our fellow club managers in their growth so that one day they continue the charitable tradition that has been part of CMAA for generations.”
