Black-tailed Jackrabbits
Of course I like to snap photos of any wildlife I see on a golf course, and these black-tailed jackrabbits qualify. I didn’t get great shots — I think my lens was competing with morning humidity at the time — but here are two shots anyway. Spotted these guys at Shary Muni in Mission, Texas.
My trip to Texas last week was great… not only did I stock up on What-a-Burgers while I was there, but I also got in two golf course visits on what was a vacation crossed with business. (Mixing business and pleasure? Yeah, that’s me. After all, I work in the golf industry!)
I’m getting caught up now that I’m back in the office… there’s a little golf tournament called the U.S. Open looming on my calendar. As it’s staring me down, I’m trying to get a magazine out the door, and also prepare for a few issues down the road.
I’ll be at the U.S. Open most of the week for the men’s Open. If you’re going to be there, I encourage you to shoot me an email (I’m easily connected with on LinkedIn) so we can say hi, swap stories and maybe I can get your photo in the magazine.
I’m coming off a busy May… I was outside Kansas more than I was in it. And it’s hard to believe that June is here. As @RedLangen tweeted, “If I had just one 250 hour workday, I may get caught up enough to say I’m only slightly behind.”
