A little holiday cheer

We can get completely carried away sometimes during the holiday season. Looking for the perfect gift, we often forget the part about having good will towards men. Many people do participate in charity during the holidays. Some drop some spare change into the red bucket of a bell ringing Santa, while others pursue volunteer opportunities. The spirit of giving is in air.

However, would you turn around and donate a gift right after receiving it? The folks at Syngenta tested just that. They drove around a golf course in their festive golf cart, handing out money and then giving golfers the option of giving it back to the Wee One Foundation. Any money given back, Syngenta multiplied by 10. The Wee One Foundation is a charity that provides assistance to golf management professionals while they are overcoming medical issues.

Each person in Syngenta’s video gave back the money, some adding more out of their own pockets. Prior to being handed the money, everyone was asked about giving back during the holidays. Many answered that giving back was important to them. By handing the cash back, along with adding to it, their actions matched their words.
