PH Holdings expands turf equipment portfolio with Turf Pride USA acquisition

PH Holdings, the parent company of PH Outdoors and PH Turf, has acquired Turf Pride USA, a manufacturer of professional turf maintenance equipment. This move brings together established brands in golf and sports turf care.

Founded by Don Cotton, Turf Pride is known for equipment such as the Core Collector and Trion series lifts; products widely used on golf courses and sports fields. Cotton, reflecting on the sale, said his priority was ensuring the company’s future was in capable hands, citing shared values and industry passion with PH Holdings.

“Don Cotton is a legend in our industry,” said Paul Hollis, CEO of PH Holdings. “Turf Pride’s Core Collector and Trion lifts are among the most respected equipment on the market. We’re honored to carry that legacy forward and bring these American-built products to even more turf professionals.” 

For PH Holdings, the acquisition adds U.S.-based manufacturing and engineering to its existing strengths in distribution and land management. Hollis described Turf Pride’s products as “among the most respected equipment on the market,” emphasizing the company’s intent to honor and build on Turf Pride’s legacy.

Turf Pride’s operations and workforce will remain in place, with a continued focus on product innovation and customer service.
