Troon has been selected to manage Westmoreland Country Club in Export, Penn., the company recently announced in a news release.

More than a century old, Westmoreland Country Club features an 18-hole golf course that regularly hosts prestigious tournaments, including U.S. Open qualifiers and many western Pennsylvania and Tri-State PGA events. The club has long been known as the preferred choice for Pittsburgh-area memberships and the ideal location for golf outings and banquet events, Troon says.

“Westmoreland Country Club is an exceptional private facility with an outstanding reputation,” says Jim McLaughlin, senior vice president, Troon Privé Operations. “We are honored to have been selected by them and are confident that our management practices will contribute positively to the experience at this highly revered club.”

Other amenities include a swimming pool complex and wading pool as well as a children’s playground and supervised indoor playroom. Westmoreland also has six HarTru tennis courts and a tennis instruction program.

“Troon is highly respected in the private club industry and we are confident their involvement will improve our club’s overall experience,” says Sam Berkovitz, club president, Westmoreland Country Club.
