PondHawk’s pond aeration system is run on solar power.

PondHawk is a solar-powered pond aeration system that delivers algae eliminating bubbles to any pond anywhere without the expense of power delivery costs, electricity and peak demand charges. Falls City (Neb.) Country Club, also known as Classic Club 8, has installed two PondHawk solar-powered pond aeration systems on the water feature between holes 2 and 3.

PondHawk’s fully integrated and quiet design will not obstruct the beauty of the property or negatively impact the game, according to the company.

“PondHawk is a new solution that keeps ponds beautiful without the cost of running electricity throughout our course,” said Carter Montgomery, superintendent, Classic Club 8. “Water quality is a vital essential to Classic Club 8 and the turf. The PondHawk system delivers bottom bubbles that improves water quality and overall habitat in our pond between holes 2 and 3.”

“It is our honor to have PondHawk tending the pond at Classic Club 8,” said Sandra Burton, president and co-founder, Linne Industries, the manufacturer of PondHawk. “Linne Industries respects the club’s leadership in maintaining water quality and eliminating electricity costs with the use of PondHawk. I am personally delighted to have the first PondHawk systems installed in my home state of Nebraska.”
