Liberty National Superintendent Greg James gives the maintenance team a pep talk, and the PGA Tour’s Paul Vermeulen says a prayer for the course.

With temperatures in the high-70s to 90 degrees in the days leading up to the Presidents Cup, maintenance team members syringing the greens was a common sight on the course.

It’s hard not to smile when you’re rolling greens at Liberty National for the Presidents Cup.

Liberty National Assistant Superintendent Jesse Dowdy double-checks jobs for maintenance team members. Practice makes perfect!

In the classic battle of divot crew vs. divots, the divot crew went a perfect 8,232-0-0 and didn’t miss a single divot!

It was pretty quiet while the team was maintaining the course, but the Manhattan skyline was a constant reminder of how close you are to the hustle and bustle of New York City.

Nothing like adding a little danger to the job by crossing a water hazard by rock path.
