Da Ditka at Da BASF Booth

BASF BASF Turf & Ornamentals will have a lot going on at its booth during the Golf Industry Show in San Diego, including a Thursday appearance by football great Mike Ditka.

Golf course superintendents can also get pest management tips and enter to win turf tools, get a free book on green speed management, play Superintendent Thousandaire to win up to $1,000, enter to win a plant disease weather station and Apple iPod® Touch, learn about improving course conditions and much more. BASF is at booth 3039.

On Wednesday, superintendents can get a free signed copy of Dr. Thomas Nikolai’s book, The Superintendent’s Guide to Green Speed Management (*Supplies are limited. Must be a superintendent to qualify.)

At noon and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, superintendents can Superintendent Thousandaire for a chance to win up to $1,000.

On Thursday at 10 a.m., superintendents can meet Ditka, one of only two people ever to win a Super Bowl as a player, assistant coach and head coach.

At 2 p.m., superintendents can watch a special edition of Superintendent Thousandaire featuring editors Larry Aylward, Golfdom; Seth Jones, Golf Course Management; and Mike Zawacki, Golf Course Industry.

At 3:30 p.m., superintendents can play Superintendent Thousandaire for another chance to win up to $1,000.
