Screen Shot 2016-06-21 at 10.42.26 AMBASF invited four properties to take part in its Elite Rejuvenation program. Each course has been introduced to new technology and re-introduced to some products they’re familiar with.

Mohegan Sun Golf Club, located in Baltic, Conn., was as one of the four courses chosen to participate in this inaugural program.

For the full rundown of how the program is going, the Golfdom team reached out to Mohegan Sun Golf Club Superintendent Chris Ellsmore to get his thoughts on the program.

After being approached in early March, Ellsmore and his crew applied the first application two weeks before Memorial Day. Since then, the results have spoken for themselves.mohegan_sun_logo

“Getting the 21 day control out of any product is huge and seeing the control we have is really beneficial,” said Ellsmore. “On average we are doing 200 rounds a day so a spray day can be pretty tricky. So if I can do it less frequently but still get the same control that’s my goal.”

What challenges does this course face on a regular basis? What products have been used during this program? How has this program changed Ellsmore’s opinion of spraying programs? All these questions and more will be answered in an upcoming issue of Golfdom.
