LebanonTurf to introduce new agronomic program for putting greens at GIS

LebanonTurf will unveil a new agronomic program designed specifically for golf course putting greens at the 2018 Golf Industry Show, Feb. 7-8 in San Antonio.

The True Performance program combines two brands from LebanonTurf: Country Club MD and Emerald Isle. Country Club MD granular products provide long-lasting nutrients to the turf, while Emerald Isle foliar products provide quick and effective nutrients and biostimulants that combat stresses such as drought and disease.

LebanonTurf used research from Purdue University and the University of Arkansas to develop a combined program approach that delivers season-long, high-performing putting greens. The 2016 study tested six different season-long nutritional programs featuring Country Club MD and Emerald Isle Solutions to find the most effective program. The universities then measured the programs based on multiple indicators, including visual turf quality, canopy greenness and stress tolerance.

“We know superintendents depend on LebanonTurf products to deliver results; it’s their livelihood,” said Chris Gray, golf channel manager at LebanonTurf. “With this program, we’re offering a proven strategy that will give them confidence in their putting greens, arguably the most important part of their course.”

LebanonTurf is offering a 10 percent rebate for customers who purchase the products outlined in the program. For more information, visit LebanonTurf’s website.
