Pavin has carved out an impressive record in his 25 years on the tour. Since 1984, he has won 27 national and international tour titles, capped by his 1995 victory in the U.S. Open. He finished in the top 15 at six tournaments in 2008 and anticipates playing in more than 20 tour events in 2009.

Pavin has been selected as U.S. team captain for the 38th Ryder Cup, marking his fourth time he will represent his country in the event that takes place at Celtic Manor Resort in Wales next October.
