Golf Water irrigation consulting and design firm launched by industry veterans

Golf Water LLC, an irrigation design and consulting firm with offices located in Wake Forest, N.C. and Atlanta, was recently launched by Paul Roche, CID, formerly the national golf sales manager at Rain Bird Corporation, and Matthew Mikucki, ME, IE&M, MBA, formerly the international golf sales manager at Rain Bird Corporation.

“After nine years in the manufacturing world, I am really excited to be back following my passion for designing golf course irrigation systems,” says Roche, principal of Golf Water. “The need to precisely manage water, energy, and labor resources have never been more important. I look forward to helping design systems that will efficiently manage resources through the application of smart solutions and best design and management practices

With more than 50 years of combined irrigation industry experience, Roche and Mikucki irrigation design and consulting firm they say is focused on the needs of the golf course superintendent. The pair have visited and worked with thousands of golf courses throughout the world, learning about the challenges faced in different climates, terrain and water sources, according to a press release.

I have spent the last 17 years working in the golf irrigation business. During that time, I have been able to visit thousands of golf courses and work with amazing golf course superintendents all over the world as a field service engineer, product manager and international sales manager,” says Mikucki, Golf Water principal. “I look forward to bringing the experience, design, and management practices I have learned throughout the world to Golf Water.”
