Look Who's Blogging
March 17, 2010 Golfdom InsiderIndustry leaders take to the Web to connect with superintendents
Launched to further increase dialogue between golf course superintendents and Tee-2-Green, the company introduces a new blog, www.tee-2-green.com/lew, that shares knowledge and tips, and highlights the travels of Lewis Sharp, golf course consultant for Tee-2-Green.
“Being that we market exclusively to golf, we have tremendous working relationships with superintendents across the nation and even in other parts of the world,” explained Bill Rose, president of Tee-2-Green. “But we’re also always looking to improve and get even more feedback from the turf professionals we serve, so we’re giving them additional access to Lew through this blog.”
The blog, “Where in the World is Lew,” will provide product information and research findings, maintenance assistance and other turf tips, and recap visits to golf courses all over the world that are seeded with one of the many Penn bentgrass varieties.
Brian Lish, the new business manager for BASF Turf & Ornamentals, is also posting columns regularly to the BASF Turf Talk blog. Called "Lish's Dish," Lish first blog talked about his first weeks on the job, which have "been a whirlwind of customer visits, new product updates and meeting turf pros. Whether it’s talking with superintendents at the Golf Industry Show, visiting distribution partners all across the U.S., or chatting up a lawn care operator, it’s apparent that the economy and this rough weather remain on the minds of all involved in our business."
