DLF forms DLF Pickseed USA from acquired companies

DLF-TRIFOLIUM has launched a new entity called DLF Pickseed USA that encompasses recently purchased companies Pickseed, Seed Research of Oregon and DLF International Seeds.

“The brands and the teams supporting those brands will remain separate and distinct,” said Claus Ikjaer, CEO and president, DLF Pickseed USA. “All three brands have great brand equity in the U.S. market and we intend to support these long-standing brands and the customers who rely upon them.”

Seed Research of Oregon and Pickseed have served customers in the U.S. and Canada for more than 30 years. Now the brands will be able to offer the extensive DLF International Seeds forage program to their customers.

DLF International Seeds offers a complete selection of cool season forage grasses and blends that are backed by an international research and product development network. Parent company DLF-TRIFOLIUM created integration teams that include Chris McDowell, Rick Myers, Bill Dunn, Roeland Kapsenberg and Claus Ikjaer to ensure customer and sales continuity.

Stadiums that plant DLF turf include Carolina Panthers, Minnesota Vikings, Dodger Stadium Outfield, University of Oregon Pape Field, Oregon State University (practice fields), University of Kentucky Athletic Facilities, Louisiana State Tigers (football and baseball fields) and Indianapolis Colts (practice field).
